Streets with more home sales than usual

These pages show which streets have had more recorded home sales than usual, for the towns that have a current last-sale file. A sale here means a priced sale on the assessor's file in the county's property records system (PROS), matched to the 2026 assessment roll. It is not a listing. Nothing here is about any one owner.

Across the 5 towns with sales data, 403 residential parcels had a priced sale recorded in the last 12 months. The pages below rank each town's streets against that town's own rate. Four recent sales on a street of eighteen parcels means something different from no sales in two years. Owner age is not in the files and is not used. Years since the last sale is how long the property has been held, and a long hold is not scored as "due."

Towns without a last-sale file

What these pages leave out

There is no list of households "most likely to sell." The public file for each town covers streets only. The method page explains why a long hold, a senior exemption or a name on the roll does not predict a listing.

FAQ

Does this say a house will be listed this year?

No. It ranks streets by how often priced sales have been recorded on them, compared with the rest of that town. A recorded sale is not a listing.

Do you use owner age or names?

No. Owner names are on the assessment roll, but the model does not use them. Age is not in the files. Senior STAR exemptions are not used.

Why are some towns missing?

Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Irvington have no PROS last-sale file. We do not make up a rate from owner names or tax bills.

Choose a town

Unofficial. Confirm figures on the town’s official roll or in PROS, the county’s property records system, before you act on them.
