Flood map
The map shows FEMA flood zones. Of 35,798 residential lots checked in these editions, 3,237 sit in a Special Flood Hazard Area, the zone FEMA gives a 1% chance of flooding each year. Tap a lot to see its zone. The buttons show or hide the 1% chance, coastal wave, and 0.2% chance zones. The slider filters by FEMA's published base flood elevation, in feet.

This is unofficial. It is not insurance, legal, or real-estate advice. Check the zone on FEMA's Map Service Center and with your insurer. Source: FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer. The colored areas are a simplified county copy of the flood zone outlines (DFIRM 36119C). A tap asks FEMA for the zone live. Lot counts come from matching each parcel against the same layer, built October 27, 2026. The Westchester flood insurance rate map (FIRM) took effect September 28, 2007. Terms.
Flood zone lots by town
These counts come from the same FEMA data the property lookup uses. Partial means only part of the lot is in the zone. The house itself may be in or out.

FAQ
Does this mean the house will flood?
No. It means FEMA has put this point in a zone used for insurance and building rules. Ask your insurer what they require for this address.
Why do houses outside the zone flood?
FEMA's Special Flood Hazard Area is the area its model gives a 1% chance of flooding each year. The line is drawn for insurance and building rules. Water can still reach houses outside it, and local drains and the Sound do not stop at that line.
How do I see houses on a town roll?
Pick a town above, or open that town's page and type flood zone in Lookup. That lists the lots whose boundary touches the Special Flood Hazard Area.
What do the buttons and the slider change?
1% chance is FEMA's Special Flood Hazard Area. Coastal waves are zones V and VE. 0.2% chance is shaded Zone X, also called the 500-year floodplain. Base flood elevation is the water height FEMA publishes for the 1% chance flood, in feet. The slider hides areas where FEMA's published elevation is above the number you pick. The From 8 ft button sets the slider to 8 feet and moves it up. The Westchester flood insurance rate map (FIRM) is dated September 28, 2007. This county has no year-by-year storm overlay.
