This Privacy Policy describes how Infarill LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use Dale Ledger at daleledger.com and related town editions (Scarsdale, Larchmont, City of Rye).

Dale Ledger is published by Infarill LLC. The site is an independent, unofficial Westchester County property almanac. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any municipality or school district.

Information we collect
Information you provide
If you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the address and message content you choose to send. We use that only to respond.
Automatic / analytics information
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate geography, device type). Google may set cookies or similar identifiers as described in Google’s policies. You can use browser controls to block cookies.
Advertising
If Google AdSense or another ad partner is enabled on the site, that partner may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads according to their own policies. Advertisers do not receive your name or email address from us. Businesses you ask to hear from through an email form are covered separately under Partner sharing.
Local device storage
The interactive town apps store a few preferences on your device, such as the roll year and panel you last had open. That data stays in your browser unless you clear site data. Permits need no sign-in and set no flag of their own.
Public records shown on the site
Assessment rolls, owner names as published on the roll, addresses, and related public filings are compiled from municipal sources. That material is public record; displaying it is not a collection of private personal data from you.

Sharing
We use processors such as Netlify (hosting), Google (Analytics / optional AdSense), and email providers when you contact us. Those processors only receive what is needed to provide their service and act on our instructions.
Partner sharing
Some pages offer email updates — a grievance deadline reminder, a note when a new roll is published, or an alert when new records appear for an address. Those forms carry a tick box asking whether you want to hear from businesses that work on the things the page is about.
If you leave that box unticked, we do not pass your address to anyone. The box is never ticked for you.
If you tick it, we may share the email address you gave us, the town, and the topic of the page you submitted from with:
- assessment consultants and tax certiorari firms
- insurers and insurance brokers, including flood insurance
- contractors in trades related to the records shown, such as oil tank removal, drainage and generators
Those businesses may contact you about your property, and we may be paid when they do. They receive your address in order to contact you about their own services. They do not receive your browsing history or anything you did not submit.
Addresses given to us before 3 August 2026 are not shared with anyone. Until that date these forms said we would not share or sell addresses, and that promise still governs every address collected under it. We will not apply this section backwards. If we ever want to include an older address, we will ask that person first and share only if they say yes.
To change your mind, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to daleledger@daleledger.com and say you want out of partner sharing. We will stop passing your address on. We cannot recall an address already sent to a partner, but you can ask that partner to delete it, and they have their own obligations to you.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary sense of the phrase. Partner sharing as described above may still count as “sharing” or “selling” under some state privacy laws, even where no money changes hands for your address specifically.
To opt out, leave the box unticked, unsubscribe from any email we send, or write to daleledger@daleledger.com with “do not sell or share” in the subject. We will act on it whether or not the law requires us to in your state.
Retention
Analytics are retained according to our Analytics settings. Emails you send are kept as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business records, then deleted or archived.
Children
Dale Ledger is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for anything you do from then on.
A change here does not reach backwards. Where we have already promised someone something about the information they gave us — as we did for every email address collected before 3 August 2026 — that promise keeps applying to that information, and we will ask before doing anything the earlier promise ruled out.

Does Dale Ledger sell my personal information?
Not unless you ask us to. Our email forms carry a tick box asking whether you want to hear from assessment consultants, insurers and contractors. Leave it unticked and we pass your address to nobody. Tick it and we may share your address with those businesses and may be paid when they contact you. Addresses given before 3 August 2026 are not shared at all.
