Riverview Manor (Hastings)
Riverview Manor, on the north end of Hastings, was advertised in 1907 as 'the home place deluxe.' It was cut from the Robert Minturn estate after the railroad was electrified in 1906 and the soot stopped.
Minturn's ground had been a country place above the river. The plat is why the north end of the village reads as a designed suburb instead of the factory streets downtown.
