Riverview Manor (Dobbs Ferry)
Riverview Manor in Dobbs Ferry was cut from Robert M. Olyphant's 1864 estate. The 1957 village register said hundreds of houses now take the river views he picked. The 1908 plat is what put streets on that ground.
Olyphant was a railroad man. The hillside facing the Hudson was the point of the place. Later streets — Palisade, Ogden, Livingston, Clinton — filled the same slope.
