Loudon Woods / Peck
Loudon Woods was cut in 1910 from Jared Peck's farm on Boston Post Road. Peck built The Cedars there in 1860. The house still stands in the plat. Holly Lane and Thistle Lane are the garden-suburb streets from that map.
The Rye Historical Society lists Loudon Woods with the first wave of Rye estate cuts after daily commuting started. Peck Avenue keeps his name; most of that street is now apartments, so the house lots on the roll are Holly and Thistle.
