Heathcote Crest / Simpson
The 48-acre Simpson property was split by the Heathcote Land Company. Innes Road (1921) is lined with ginkgo trees; James Innes built the houses, including number 25 for himself. Heathcote Crest (1926) added Farragut, Graham, Lawrence, and Vanderbilt.
Frank Hopkins Bethell — first village president — subdivided his own land in 1920; Bethel Road is missing an L. Lockwood Road rings the old Lockwood Collegiate School.
