# Larchmont Woods / Rockingstone

Rockingstone, Hickory Grove, and Maple Hill sit in Larchmont Woods — the 1920s town plat west of the village line. Houses on Rockingstone average 1927. This is leftover Mamaroneck farmland, not Flint's 1872 manor map.

The unincorporated town kept filling after Larchmont (1891) and the Village of Mamaroneck (1895) took the shore. Larchmont Woods is the inland neighborhood that still uses a Larchmont mailing address.
